Watercolour is one of the most precise techniques for defining the indefiniteness of certain real scenes. It has something atmospheric that is difficult if not impossible to find in other forms of expression. In the variation of the laying and in the richness of nuances, it is able to capture the thickness of the air and the reverberation of the colours of the visible spectrum. For this reason, even though it is materially flat, it has a thickness and a depth, even if it is diaphanous and almost transparent.
